Following on from the post on the origin of the negative.
Positive
Ideological linguists say that it comes from the Latin positivus, which is derived from positum, the past participle of ponere "to put, to place."
It is really strange how this word has a meaning related to the "po"(yes) of the Albanian language. This etymological ambiguity of the word is inherent in it:
Does the Latin positivus derive from positum, the past participle of ponere 'to put,' to put', or does something else lie under the rug of the Latin word?
Therefore, the basic meaning of 'positive' is to say "po" (yes) in analogy with the etymology of the negative "to say no."
This is the reason why an adjective that simply expresses an affirmative quality, if what is affirmed by the Albanian "po"(yes), the meaning of this changes to a 'positive' adjective during the process of linguistic evolution in time.
Then, it is natural, the affirmation, when someone says yes, seems to us fundamentally better than the denial, when someone says no, the reason for the meaning process of "positive" is the saying yes to you. He is also nice, you can talk and want to chat with him.
But de Waan identifies it as from Proto-Italic *posine-, from PIE *tkine- "to make-build, live with", from the root *tkei- "set me, inhabit me, be at home"
De Vaan comes very close to the true etymology when he finds the root "posine" which is nothing but the Gegnishte verb "bon" (made, build, done) which in Albanian means both make and build, but bon is also in the root of house from "zete bi" (to be made, build) but in this case from the Epiriote Albanian "bi".
I think this is the perfect example of why etymology is primitive. Etymology correctly defined the negative as "saying no" and gave it a consistent label so that it could be studied, and correctly describes the thought process that causes it while in the case of the true origin of the adjective "positive" it misses the mark of the thought process that created the word and cannot find the reason for the creation of the new word.
Similarly in phonetics, there are sometimes linguistic sound shifts such as 'b' to 'p' but phonetics does not describe the reason for the process, which is actually very central to determining the thought process that created the core meaning of the word and finding the origin of the word, the oldest parent word.
"Po" in Albanian comes from the thought process of "bo." (made, produced, build) When the plant is "made", when the child is born, it is produced: it made a girl (twins); he made his head ( gave birth to him); made two lambs; ben (laid) eggs; ben (makes) milk
It makes honey, it makes good melon; they made the olives; when it comes to agricultural production, it's a big yes, it's positive it's good or buono'/e bon.

PON=ERE suffix
BON=P>B
The origin of "ponere" comes from the verb "bo" (to make) and the adjective "bon" (made) of the very ancient language, the mother of the Albanian language, the Albanian Geg dialect.
While the 4th syllable word:
POSITIVE=
PO-ZI-TI-VE=
Yes-to be made-you-acumulate.
Directly from the "PO" (yes) of Albanian and the forms-embryos-thinking bricks of Albanian "Zë"(to be made) the pronouns "TI" (you) and "Vë" (acumulate) and it is a form very late in time. Even this famous word of the ecclesiastical language, the already dead language, the Latin language, has not escaped the embryos of the Albanian language.
