Such was a 1903 New Year's card issued in Sofia, Bulgaria by the "Society of Albanians for Learning - Desire".
"O sons of Albania, the day has come for learning, pursue knowledge willingly, without hesitation", is written on the postcard, where the New Year's greeting is also made: "For many years, happy new mot/year 1903".
What is the origin of the word *mot of the Albanian language?
The Albanian language was not born in a day and the source of the Albanian language cannot be found by using only the primitive etymological method.
The Albanian language created its words thousands and thousands of years ago and those codes live today only in the Albanian language.
I think that in order to find the origin of the Albanian language, and of the PIE language, the words of the Albanian language should be divided into several large groups:
- the group of words that are based on the concept of circular motion. Pictogram concepts O, D, LR and R belong to this group.
- the group of words that defines objects with circular shapes. This word includes the pictographic concepts O, R, TH, C.
- the group of words that define movement and moving objects. This group includes the concepts L, D, M, V, E.
- the group of words that defines the concept of making construction. This group includes the concept B, Z
- the group of words that defines the concept of production. This group includes the pictographic concepts B, R, M, P, R
- the group of words that defines height, width, length and size in this group include A, G, L, K, R, T.
- The group of words that defines the beginning, birth, youth and simple objects of one element. The pictographic concepts F, I belong to this group.
- The group of words that determines the bounding of physical elements with each other. This group includes G, K, DH, T, M and B.

*'Diurnus' of Latin, for example, came to life as a day only from *Diell of the Albanian language. Learned people of the church who built Latin, took the albanism word from diell/sun, from the word of a very old time of the Albanian language, the high language which they reshaped in the new language as diurnus. Diurnus is not only close to the original DIELL, it is not only very similar, but also shows a concept related to the day. The word dit/day comes from *diell just as the the word drit/ light comes.
We return again to the name *diell/sun, its construction. It is a pictographic construction that is closer to the very first word construction. That it is not a borrowed word from Latin, but the opposite, shows the original connection of this word with other Albanian language word YL/star, this form of the word for star which is missing in the old Greek and Latin.
The word YLL, IL cannot be dated, but it can be deduced that it is a very old word, much older than the two new languages "Greek" and Latin because it exists in a similar form in the Sumerian language with two forms *ul and mul". The form *mul on the other hand shows that it is newer than the form *ul and *yll because it has one more element, the pictographic concepts M as well as it is formed by joining M with YLL where Y is a pictographic concept of the star as the merging of the light rays I of a star into a summation Y of I's and L's is the concept of motion. The Sumerians added the concept of summation of I's, the *. The linguists it translate as *mul. While the form *UL is almost the form Albanian *yll.
While in Akkadian we have the word *ilu which does not define the word star but means 'god; MUL means 'star'. These have come a pictogram depicting a star, and if we look closely at the MUL, we see that it consists of three stars
The similar sounding UL or ul means yes "star" and is often used as a determiner. UL or MUL didn't just mean 'star'.
The meaning of *ul and *mul is star; shining, light; arrow; with rays (branches)"
Also interesting is the Sumerian form *UD, the Sumerian word for sun, which is with D like the Albanian language.
The union of UL with DU gives a form *udul close to the sun.
The words for star in old Greek and Latin are *aster and *astrum. It is simple to understand that the words are two-syllable, newer, not directly related to YLL, but on the other hand, Albanian can easily determine their origin.
Astrum is a phonetic distortion and borrowing from aster and we will not deal with its composition.
While *aster is a formation from the Albanian language *asht/is and *El/Star which is nothing but the word YLL.
