The etymology of the Albanian word Katun or Katund

The Albanian language word *katun means village.

It has two forms in Albanian language:

KATUN or KATUND.

The Etymology of the word KATUN:

The Root: From the Albanian language verb *ka/has and from the Geg Albanian word *TON (tan) which understands the whole (i, e) adjective; also as a noun; which is taken whole and undivided; which is in its entirety; all.
Attestation is done by Old English with *tūn meaning "enclosure; settlement, town".
So, this word does not come from old Greek nor from the language of the South Slavs. It is a word created by the Albanian language before the birth of these languages.
