The Albanian word *cingun is the word for stingy.
- unwilling to give or spend
- unwilling to give or spend;
See the visual similarity betwen the Albanian word and the English word. It is not about etymology.
I think it is related to these Albanian language codes:
-C'ngop- with the negative C-prefix of the word *ngop/full of eating
-çik (little)
-nji (one)
The word *ngop comes from an alphabetic concept, which I think was "a whole thing, all of it that we send to our body, to ourselves".
Cingun, the first creator of this word, I think he created it from the alphabetical concept "the smallest part of a whole". *Cingun comes from "Cingon with the phonetic transformation of o/u.
*Pangopur comes today with the meaning we know today, but in its first meaning was the word *ngopur adding the negative prefix *a-ngopur. *a is the negative prefix that ended today in *pa in Albanian language.
The Albanian language also uses i-ne as a negative prefix that has an Albanian language origin, such as for example the word *ignorant, but which has at its base *i+gnoh/i+know, which is the negative form of the word *know which means lacking knowledge.
Njoh/knowledge and *i+n(g)njoh with "i" as a negative prefix make the meaning of the word negative, or the contrary meaning. It is like to create today a new synonym word in Eglish to replace *ignorant of Latin with *iknower. It looks a strange word right? It looks stange because it is a new word.
*Njoh/ know in Albanian is related to the ancient Greek word *γνώμη and it is no coincidence that it has it, because it is its mother.
I think they are alphabetic codes, not just words. They were built when the first Albanian alphabet began with the letter "i", around 8000 years ago (Vinca alphabet), the letter *i means the number one, and the beginning of something, and the smallest part of something.
They come to today's Albanian language as words with a specific meaning, but under them are hidden language codes of how the language was created.
So *cingun, I think that the first meaning of its creator was "gives the smallest quantitative division of a complete thing". *i has the code of the smallest amount, and *g has the code of sending (one of its meanings as a code) or giving something, and *o has the code of a whole thing.
That's why in English the word stingy is to close with other word sting.
- 1.a small sharp-pointed organ at the end of the abdomen of bees, wasps, ants, and scorpions, capable of inflicting a painful or dangerous wound by injecting poison.
These codes are expressed in other wordd
The *i code:
The conceptual source of the construction of the word is the Albanian language.
From the alphabetical letter *i, which is not just e letter, but a code which becomes the matrix for the construction of words such as:
nji/one, nis/start, filim/beginning, çik/little, bir/son, filiz/sprout, fimia/child, prij/lead, etc.
It was further developed by Latin as figlio/child, inizio/beginning'start, and hundreds other words.
The *o code:
It is not just a letter. It is a code. The code of a whole thing
For example, the word *plot/full in Albania has the code of *o.
It is created from *bl-ber/make and *o. It id considering just an *o as a noun. It comes from "ber-o/made the o. So, when you make an O, you make the whole of something.
By the way *plot is the origin of the famous Latin Latin word *complete.
Albanian has many secrets how the first language was created.
