Who are these people in civilian clothes who are grabbing and using force against protesters?
If they are police officers, they should identify themselves and act within the law. If they are not police officers, then the question is even more serious: under what authority are they using force against citizens?
Albania in 2026 cannot return to the methods of the past, when the authorities used people in civilian clothes to control and intimidate protesters.
A uniform is not simply clothing. It represents authority, accountability, and identification.
A democratic state should not have “anonymous police officers” using force against its citizens.
Who are these people? Who ordered them to act? And who will be held accountable for their actions?
These are not political questions. They are questions about the rule of law.
ALBANIA MUST NOT GO BACKWARDS.
