What are you willing to put on the table to prove that you deserve to continue serving as Prime Minister?
After more than a decade in power, Albanians have the right to demand answers—not slogans—about the alleged theft of public property, massive corruption in public tenders, widespread corruption in the oil industry, favoritism and monopolization of oil and gasoline sales in favor of Socialist Party oligarchs, the massive laundering of drug money, the corrupt sale or transfer of public land and protected areas, the mass depopulation of the country, the replacement of Albanian workers with foreign workers, policies perceived as pro-Serbian and supportive of Serbian genocide, pro-Greek policies and de facto support for the assimilation of southern Albania, policies against the Albanian populations of Kosovo and North Macedonia, and policies against the Cham Albanians and their property rights in Chameria.
Not slogans. Answers.
As the longest-serving democratically elected Prime Minister in Europe—apart from authoritarian leader Vladimir Putin—and having served longer than Italy's Giorgia Meloni, you should be prepared to:
• Fully disclose your personal and family wealth, businesses, investments, debts and significant financial interests—and allow all of them to be independently verified.
• Explain major government contracts, concessions, sales or transfers of public property and strategic national assets, public-private partnerships and major public expenditures, making clear to Albanians who benefits from them.
• Disclose and address every serious conflict of interest, including your relationships with powerful business figures who may influence government decision-making.
• Answer specific questions from journalists and citizens, rather than communicating through political propaganda and continuous vulgar political attacks.
• Accept political consequences for serious failures, mismanagement and any deliberate wrongdoing committed under your decade-long leadership.
AND THE FINAL QUESTION, EDI RAMA:
If you are not willing to give Albanians full and verifiable answers about public assets, public money, government decisions, and alleged abuses committed by your government and under your personal leadership, why don't you resign with dignity and apologize to all Albanians, wherever they may be?
Albanians deserve answers.
