Parapetat ne Shqip, παρωπίδες (paropídes) ne Greqisht dhe blinkers ne Anglisht jane dy copa lëkure që vendosen anash syve të një kali në mënyrë që ai të shohë vetëm përpara.

Blink

Shkruar reth 1580, ndoshta vjen nga holandishtja e mesme blinken "to glitter", e cila është me origjinë të pasigurt, ndoshta, me *blinken gjermane "të shkëlqejë, shkëlqejë, vezullojë", nga një formë e hundës gjetur në anglishten e vjetër blican "të shkëlqejë, shkëlqejë" ( nga rrënja PIE *bhel- (1) "të shkëlqejë, shkëlqejë, digjet").

Anglishtja mesjetare e kishte *blynke (rreth vitit 1300) në kuptimin "një shkëlqim ose shkëndijë e shkurtër", ndoshta një variant i *blench "për të lëvizur papritur ose ashpër; për të ngritur qepallat" (rreth 1200), ndoshta nga *blencan fjale e rrallë anglshtes se vjeter qe kupton fjalen "mashtroj."

Blinken fillimisht vjen me një grup kuptimesh të paqarta dhe të ndryshme, te cilat tani nuk perdoren me ne anglisht, ka të bëjnë me lëvizjen e syve; në përdorimin e hershëm ka te bëjë me "nocionin e shikimit' mbizotëron; më vonë njesoj me fjalën *Winking, Blink si Wink të mbyllësh syrin vërtetohet nga viti 1761. Kuptimin "hedh një dritë të papritur, kalimtare" është nga viti 1786; ai i "mbyll dashje sytë për momentin " është i vitit 1858.

Tani etymologjia ne anglish sic kuptohet thjeshte nga nje shqipfoles eshte e gabuar. 

Gjuhetare nuk mud të gjëjnë origjinene e kesaj fjales nese nuk marrin ne konsiderate Shqipen

Origjina e vetë fjalës shqipe parapete vjen nga para+pe+t, me pa perpara (Gegenisht), ka foljen e shikimit me *pa dhe parafjalen para.

së bashku me një emër a me një përemër shënon: 1. frymorin, sendin etj. përballë të cilit ndodhet dikush a diçka;

Shoh

E kryera e thjeshtë është: pashë, pe, pa, pamë, patë, pane

Pra parapetre vjen nga kuptimi *me pa perpara (standarti ka probleme me paskajoren e foljes)

Po keshtu παρωπίδες (fem.) (paropídes) vjen nga i njejti nocion i fjalëve te shqipes.

Ndersa Blinkers vjen nga mbyll dhe mbuloj e Shqipes m. Sic duke qarte te d y foljet mbyll dhe mboloj ne shqip vijne nga nje me+byl(l) ku *me është ngjitur gjate perdorimit, njesoj si mbuloj *me-bul(l).  Me shume gjasa nga *mbyll duke patur formen e saj te hershme *blynken.

Forma *blynken tregon origjinen e kesaj fjale me shume gjasa nga *mbyll, e cila eshte ne fakt perkufuzimi mendimor i fjales:

Një *blink(blynk) është një mbyllje e përkohshme e të dy syve që përfshin lëvizjet e qepallave të sipërme dhe të poshtme.

Nephilim

N 'eh - Ph 'ih- L 'ee- M /  Nepheeleem Zacharia Sitchin (July 11, 1920 – October 9, 2010)  wrote the " Nephilim " (נְפִילִים) is derived from “nafàl" and means “fall".
